hi,
just an idea.
would it be possible to implement a step input recording similiar to the one in logic?(http://documentation.apple.com/en/logic ... tasks=true )
of course not that complex (no chords or different note lenghts).
just hit a key on the midi-keyboard and then the phoscyon stepsequencer records this note and jumps to the next step. so it would be much easier to "compose".
as the full keyboard isn't used some notes could also trigger other events like accent, slide,...
(hope i could make my idea clear)
otherwise i'm in love with my new toy.
cheers, andreas.
oh and a happy new year of course.

Re: step input recording?
Hi,
This would remind a bit original pitch mode, hmm, that's interesting idea. In a future edition (2.x) we're going to give user possibility of assigning every visible control
on GUI to any midi control code, so this problem will be gone i guess, since you'll be able to prepare a midi map for midi notes which will satisfy this need - however
the step number wouldn't be changed automatically and you'd need to assign also next/prev buttons to some other midi note
Best regards,
Sebastian
